3 CTG members yield to NSPPO

CAMP CARLOS DELGADO, Catarman, Northern Samar -- In their desire to live a peaceful life, three active members of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) surrendered to the Northern Samar Police Provincial Office on August 18, 2021.
PCol. Arnel J. Apud, Northern Samar police provincial director, welcomed Ka Alvin, 37; Alias Boy, 39; and Alias Raskie, 17, all residents of Brgy. Ynugiayan, Pambujan, Northern Samar.
Alias Boy is the chairman of Barangay Organizing Party (BPO) of Sentro de Grabidad (SDG), Ka Alvin is the Vice-Chairman of BPO, SDG, while Alias Raskie is a full-time NPA member of SDG Probinsya, under the command of Alias Dodo operating in the areas of Pambujan, Las Navas, and Silvino Lubos.
The surrender of the said CTG members was facilitated through the efforts of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company led by PMaj. Seth Mark D. Alob, force commander and RIU 8.
The communist terrorists who confessed their roles while in the movement pledged to cooperate with the PNP in cases that will be filed against the atrocities committed by the CPP-NPA communist-terrorists.
Meanwhile, PCol. Apud also expressed his appreciation for their desire in returning to the folds of the law and abandoning their pointless struggle.
“Your step in trusting our Office towards your peaceful desires and for the future of your families is appreciated. It is high time for you to surrender as the government is willing to extend help and assistance to those who returned to the folds of the law,” PCol. Apud told the surrenderers.
