RTF6-ELCAC on statements by CPP-NPA-NDF sympathizers on the military operations in Miagao, Iloilo
The RTF6-ELCAC commends the men and women of the 301st Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Philippine Army for its success in delivering a crippling blow to the Southern Front of the Komiteng Rehiyon-Panay of the CPP-NPA-NDF.
WE also commend the support extended by the Police Regional Office 6 thru the Iloilo Police Provincial Office and various police national support units to the operating troops in the field.
We express our gratitude to the various local government units, municipal and barangay officials who responded to the call of duty during the aftermath of the military operations.
To the families of those who died in the military operations, we express our condolences and prayers.
For the mothers who called out the CPP-NPA for recruiting their then minor children to join the terrorist organization, we are one with you in condemning the CPP-NPA-NDF for depriving you of your children and for wasting your children's lives to a lost cause.
To the people in the communities who showed their support to our troops, you have our eternal gratitude. Thank you for supporting the cause for peace.
To the CPP-NPA-NDF,
To the remnants of the Southern Front, KR-Panay,
we ask you to lay down your arms,
surrender,
return to your families and to your communities,
live in peace.
This invitation goes out also to the members of the Central Front, KR-Panay, and to the remaining active members of the Milisyang Bayan and the Sangay ng Partido sa Lokalidad.
The CPP-NPA-NDF's days are numbered.
They cannot hope to win in their desire to overthrow this government.
The government will subdue and neutralize the CPP-NPA-NDF terrorist organization with overwhelming force.
To all those who villify the Armed Forces of the Philippines for using all available assets at their disposal to put an end, once and for all, the CPP-NPA-NDF terrorist organization,
understand this...
and get this through your thick heads---
you are not in a position to dictate to the AFP how they will fight the war against terror,
you are not even in a position to dictate the terms on how the AFP will achieve tactical superiority in the field,
if you care so much for the members of the CPP-NPA-NDF, ask them instead to surrender to the government,
only by surrendering can there be no lives lost.
on the Miagao encounter on December 1, 2021, this is one thing certain, the ground commanders ensured that no lives will be lost among their troops, hence, they used all available resources to ensure a tactical victory with zero losses among their men.
for those who cannot accept this fact, you must realize by now that armed struggle against the government is hopeless, futile, and quixotic.
Your continued villification of the NTF-ELCAC is nothing more than a desperate attempt to deny the undeniable.
Understand this, while this government has the political will to put an end to the 53 year-old communist insurgency, the NTF-ELCAC will always be at the forefront of the whole-of-nation approach to address the root causes of the insurgency.
Our reliance on good governance by bringing much needed infrastructure and basic services to geographically isolated and then conflict stricken barangays will break the backbone of the CPP-NPA-NDF terrorist organization.
Hindi po kami nagkulang sa paanyaya sa mga kasapi ng CPP-NPA-NDF at ng kanilang mga prente na magbalik loob sa pamahalaan.
Ang ayaw ng aming alok na kapayapaan ay magsasayang lang ng kanilang mga buhay sa isang simulaing walang saysay.
Sana lang, sa mga kasapi ng mga grupong nagsisimpatiya sa teroristang grupong CPP-NPA-NDF,
matauhan na kayo sa panlilinlang sa inyo ng CPP-NPA-NDF.
