RTF6-ELCAC statement on the LGU Forum on Countering CTG Resource Generation for a CTG-Free Elections

Today, let us confront an inconvenient truth.

Politics has always been a money-maker for the CPP-NPA-NDF terrorist organization.

Election time may be compared to Christmas time for the CPP-NPA-NDF.

This is the time when the communist terrorist operatives go on overdrive in their nationwide extortion spree through their Permit to Campaign and Permit to Win money making schemes targeting weak-willed and gullible politicos.

Throughout our history, many politicians willingly or unwillingly; connive, conspire, confederate, and ally themselves with the CPP-NPA-NDF and their pseudo legal front organizations to gain votes generated thru force, violence, and coercion.

It is a fact that the CPP-NPA-NDF terrorize our people to vote for their legal front political groups vying for seats in the legislative and executive branches of the government.

During the past elections, many politicians sleep with our sworn enemy, the CPP-NPA-NDF terrorist organization in a desperate bid to derail and besmirch the electoral processes.

In many instances, the CTGs provide a “private army” to unscrupulous politicians. They engage in contract killings and election-related crimes and acts of violence in exchange for large sums of donation money from these power-hungry public official wannabes.

In the past elections held in our country, the menace of the CPP-NPA-NDF cast a gloomy and eerie shadow over the integrity and the sanctity of the Filipino people’s right to suffrage.

In the past electoral exercises, communist terrorist groups collected millions of pesos from politicos which they generously spend to finance their leaders’ lavish and extravagant lifestyles and the terroristic activities of the NPA.

The blood money given by politicians are used by the CPP-NPA-NDF terrorist organization to buy guns, bullets, and components for anti-personnel mines that were repeatedly employed by the NPA to kill innocent children, policemen, and soldiers.

In this forum, we intend to make to stand to put an end to the tyranny of electoral violence and the infringement of free will being perpetrated by the CPP-NPA-NDF terrorist organization and their front organizations on our people particularly in the remaining few areas where the terrorist organization remains a threat to national security.

The RTF6-ELCAC enjoins and calls on the local government officials of this province to fully support the campaign of the government to cut-off all forms of material support to the CPP-NPA-NDF and their front organizations.

You are reminded, you do not owe these terrorists anything.

It is also your duty and your responsibility to protect the state and our people from all enemies, foreign and domestic, the CPP-NPA-NDF terrorist organization included.

As public servants, we are expected to uphold the rule of law.

Giving material support to terrorists is a crime under anti-terrorism financing act of 2012 and the anti-terrorism act of 2020.

Do not allow the CPP-NPA-NDF to interfere with our electoral processes. Terrorists have no place in a free and democratic state, more so, in our communities.

The RTF6-ELCAC will not hesitate to prosecute any public official and/or government employee who shall give or render material support to the CPP-NPA-NDF and their front organizations.

Giving aid to a terrorist organization is the highest form of betrayal of public trust,

a betrayal of our constitution, and

a betrayal of a government employee’s oath of office.

To my colleagues in the government service, fellow public servants, let us build a better future for the next generations of Filipinos who shall come to take our place.

Let us work for a just and lasting peace.

Let us unite in protecting the sanctity of our elections.
