The NTF-ELCAC is Grateful for the Reminder of SOJ Menardo Guevarra on Identifying and Unmasking CPP

The NTF-ELCAC agrees with SOJ Guevarra that the Task Force does not red-tag any person, group, organization, or entity.

In the first place, red-tagging is a misnomer.

It is a non-existent term in so far as our laws are concerned.

"Red-tagging" is a term that was conveniently used by the CPP-NPA-NDF and by their allied front groups as a defense mechanism whenever they are exposed, unmasked, and uncovered.

SOJ Guevarra might have remembered seeing a video clip of Joma Sison identifying the very same organizations that compose the united front of the CPP-NPA-NDF as part of their so called "revolutionary armed struggle".

In that video, Joma Sison himself tagged the CPP-NPA-NDF affiliated groups. The SOJ, in using the term "red-tagging" may be coming from that context and he is correct when he s
